{"id":1249,"date":"2014-08-20T08:00:59","date_gmt":"2014-08-20T13:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nebraskagreens.org\/?p=1249"},"modified":"2014-08-21T15:31:48","modified_gmt":"2014-08-21T20:31:48","slug":"in-neligh-sept-27-neil-young-and-willie-nelson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nebraskagreens.org\/wordpress\/2014\/08\/20\/in-neligh-sept-27-neil-young-and-willie-nelson\/","title":{"rendered":"In Neligh Sept. 27: Neil Young and Willie Nelson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>From <a href=\"http:\/\/boldnebraska.org\/\">BOLD Nebraska<\/a>:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Two music legends \u2014 Neil Young and Willie Nelson \u2014 will perform a benefit concert on Sept. 27 on a farm near Neligh, Nebraska, that is on the route of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline and also crosses the historic Ponca Tribe \u201cTrail of Tears.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the \u201cHarvest the Hope\u201d concert will go to Bold Nebraska, the Indigenous Environmental Network and the Cowboy &amp; Indian Alliance, to fund the ongoing fight against the Keystone XL pipeline, as well as a number of small, community-based clean energy projects on farms and tribal land.
